Free counseling sessions for all students

There are as many reasons to seek counseling as there are people. Explore personal challenges with a counselor at your own pace in one-on-one, confidential dialogue.

Your counselor will ask questions to understand your concerns and how they fit into your life and worldview to support you in navigating your life.

You don't have to face life's challenges alone.

How counseling appointments work

The Counseling Center hours begin at 8 a.m. for calls, appointments, and drop-in appointments. We book sessions as far as two weeks out. Telemental health sessions are also available.

Traditional counseling sessions (50 min)

You begin counseling with an intake session. You'll fill out paperwork and your counselor will ask background questions. The intake also gives us a chance to match you with the best counselor for your needs. You can schedule follow up sessions after the intake.

Let's Talk sessions (20 min)

You can schedule or drop in for concerns that require immediate attention or a consultation that’s not a therapy session. We talk about your needs and next steps to help you.
