Congratulations! You've been admitted to Fort Lewis College. We think you'll love it here. Maybe you're excited, maybe curious, maybe nervous... maybe all the above. While you take care of the prep-work, we encourage you to prep-play, too. As you daydream about life at FLC, come visit campus (again, even!) on your own or during a Preview weekend (held in April each year). Stay in touch with community on social media, get ready for Orientation, and definitely sign up one of the PEAK Experience opportunities.

Preview FLC - Virtually

FLC Preview events are always one of our favorite ways to show off our amazing Skyhawk community to admitted students. We've moved our preview online, to a live, interactive event! Learn more on our virtual preview page:

Looking at Durango at night from campus

It's one thing to look at pictures and read descriptions, and it's another thing to see the La Plata Mountains over campus, to walk into downtown Durango, or to stroll the residence and department halls. Come check it out!

The Socials

Students post their adventures to FLC social media

Peek at what your fellow Skyhawks are up to, and what's happening on campus while you wait for the semester to start. FLC is on all the big socials, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and others.

Ready, set, go!

Get  your FLC journey off to a good start at Orientation. All Orientation events are held to support a smooth transition to life and school as a Skyhawk.

Pre-Orientation action

Find a core group of friends, build your academic and leadership skills, play outside, and get insider tips on surviving college life. PEAK Experiences offers all that and more. These are optional programs that take place just before your standard Orientation. There are four programs to choose from depending on your interests. Whichever one you sign up for, you'll get acquainted with college life, meet other students, develop skills, and have loads of fun.
