Financial assistance for enrolled FLC students facing unexpected expenses
Fort Lewis College is committed to helping students persist through unexpected financial challenges. The Skyhawk Emergency Grant provides one-time funding, made possible through FLC Foundation donors, to help currently enrolled students cover costs that arise outside of normal educational expenses.
Please note: your college bill is not an unexpected expense and does not qualify for this grant.
What emergency expenses qualify
Emergency expenses can look different for every student. An unexpected medical bill, a car repair that keeps you from getting to campus, a sudden loss of housing, or another unforeseen cost that makes it hard to focus on your education are all examples of what this grant is designed to help with. If you're facing something unexpected that's standing between you and your academics, this grant may be able to help.
