First-Year Undergraduate Scholarships
Fort Lewis College awards scholarships during the admissions process to help undergraduate students finance their college education. You can receive scholarships based on academic merit, through your major, and many other avenues. Explore your scholarship opportunities below.
First-year students are automatically considered for Merit Scholarships during the admission process. You do not need to complete a separate application.
Merit scholarships are based on your cumulative high school GPA, weighted or unweighted, on a 4.0 scale. The Financial Aid Office automatically renews these scholarships if the renewal criteria have been met. Merit scholarships are renewable for up to four years.
You can also receive a Merit Scholarship through the New Mexico Reciprocal Scholarship or the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Scholarship. Merit scholarships cannot be combined.
