Make your associate's degree a bachelor’s degree
Students and graduates of San Juan College who are New Mexico residents can work toward a bachelor’s degree at Fort Lewis College at the in-state tuition rate through the San Juan College Reciprocal Scholarship.
Recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.00 at Fort Lewis College to retain the scholarship in future terms.
No application is required. You will be automatically considered during the admission process. You must submit transcripts showing your San Juan College degree completion by the Census Date of your starting semester.
Census Date is the last day of each semester when students can withdraw from classes without a financial penalty. It occurs on the 12th day of classes during the fall and spring semesters.
This scholarship is separate from the San Juan College Reciprocal Scholarship. Students who graduate from San Juan College with honors receive an additional $1,000 for their first year at Fort Lewis College. This is a one-time award.
Contact our Transfer Admission Counselor for questions about transferable credits, costs, housing, scholarships, or any other concerns about transferring to Fort Lewis College.
