School of Business Administration
A community of opportunity
To study accounting is to find your way into the backbone of business, the very pulse of commerce as it weaves between communities, nations, and across the globe. To work as an accountant is to put yourself at the right hand of decision-makers, or in the driver’s seat of your own company, flexing your creativity and problem-solving. And with our small classes and dedicated faculty, you’ll be in a great position to go wherever you want. Available as a major and a minor.
Many Accounting majors get their foot in the door with local firms after their junior year, interview for positions their senior year, and graduate with a job in place. Our highly active chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, a national professional organization for accounting students, hosts weekly speakers and arranges service activities within the business community to build your network of opportunity.
“The School of Business Administration provided me with both the education and the tools necessary to be a successful business professional. Not only did I get hands-on, real-world experience that I am utilizing in my career today, I also learned the values of teamwork, how to react in an international business setting, and how to solve complex problems in an effective and efficient manner.”
