Scholarships for children and grandchildren of FLC alumni

Every year, the Office of Alumni Engagement provides scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,000 to children and grandchildren of Fort Lewis College alumni, made possible by the generous contributions of our alumni community. Award amounts and the number of scholarships vary depending on available funds. Scholarships are awarded for one academic year and are not automatically renewable; recipients must reapply each year.

The application deadline is February 15.

Eligibility

To be considered for an Alumni Scholarship, you must:

  • Be a child or grandchild of a Fort Lewis College alumnus or alumna
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.70 or higher
  • Be enrolled full-time (minimum 30 credit hours per academic year)

An alumnus or alumna is defined as someone who attended Fort Lewis College for a minimum of two years or four terms. First consideration is given to applicants who have demonstrated academic excellence at the college level.
