One of the original 6 dormatories on campus.  Named after Lt. Colonel Robert E. A. Crofton - Civil War veteran cited gallantry and meritorious service at the battles of Shiloh, Chickamauga and Missionary Ridge.  Commander of Fort Lewis military post, 1880 to 1881.
