How to Join the Ultimate Frisbee Team

As a FLC Ultimate athlete/scholar, you can expect:

  • Two team practices per week led by a coach and team leaders.
  • Skill development focused on throwing, cutting, defense, conditioning, and game strategy.
  • Beginner and advanced instruction — no prior ultimate experience required.
  • Travel to regional collegiate ultimate tournaments and events.
  • Games and scrimmages against other colleges and club teams.
  • Opportunities to help teach and mentor new players and the local community through clinics and pickup games.
  • Opportunity to help build and grow a new Fort Lewis College team.

$200per semester

  • Cleats and athletic clothing
  • The club provides discs

Requirements

Academic Requirements

  • No academic, financial, or disciplinary holds
  • Cumulative GPA of at least 2.0
  • Enrolled for a minimum of 12 credits per semester

Other Requirements

  • Adhere to team sportsmanship and Spirit of the Game principles
  • Assist with and participate regularly in practices, events, and fundraising
  • Stay up-to-date on dues payments
