Prepare for medical school and healthcare careers

At Fort Lewis College, Pre-Health Preparation helps students complete prerequisite coursework and prepare for admission to a variety of healthcare professional programs. Students interested in medicine, physician assistant studies, veterinary medicine, dentistry, nursing, athletic training, nutrition and dietetics, pharmacy, physical therapy, public health, and other health professions can work with faculty advisors to build a plan that supports their career goals.

Because admission requirements vary by profession, students work with faculty advisors and the Pre-Health Professions Advisory Committee to develop an academic plan and prepare for the professional school application process.
