This space features a Crestron touch control panel mounted to the Nomad Podium, allowing for easy volume; display, and camera control. Facing the students is a large whiteboard on which the room's projector can display, a 55" LG TV, and an AVer PTZ camera. Mounted at the back of the room are two 55" LG TVs, and an AVer PTZ Camera. Installed in the ceiling, is a SHURE microphone array tile, making this space fully Zoom capable.
Some of our classrooms have additional TV screens on the side or at the back of the room. Many times there is a camera near the additional screens. With this arrangement, if there are remote students joining the class, they can be seen on the back TVs. When the professor looks at that screen, the relative position of the camera makes the remote student feel like the professor is looking at them.
The AVer 310PTZ Pro camera is USB connected to the classroom PC for use in video conferencing applications such as Zoom. The camera has pan, tilt, and zoom capability which are controlled with a remote. They do not have a tracking feature.
The AVer TR530 PTZ camera is USB connected to the classroom PC for use in video conferencing applications such as Zoom. The camera has pan, tilt, and zoom capability which are controlled with a touch panel or a remote. They do have a simple tracking feature that can be enabled or disabled.
The Nomad Podiums are multi-purpose lecterns with AV incorporated into them, providing an encapsulated system with control, video switching, and multiple source inputs. Most Nomads will have these features:
These microphones are an array of multiple mics to pick up all the voices in the room. These microphones are connected to the Built-in PC for use in video conferencing software such as Zoom.
