This space features a Crestron Touch Control Panel mounted to the New Podium, allowing for easy volume, camera, and screen control. Facing the students are two large white boards, a third off to the side on which the room's projector can display. To the left of the two main white boards is an 86" touch TV. At the back of the room is an Aver PTZ camera. Mounted in the ceiling is a Shure microphone tile, making this space fully Zoom capable.
The AVer TR530 PTZ camera is USB connected to the classroom PC for use in video conferencing applications such as Zoom. The camera has pan, tilt, and zoom capability which are controlled with a touch panel or a remote. They do have a simple tracking feature that can be enabled or disabled.
The Dell Touch TVs allow for touch and pen interactions with a connected device. The Built-in PCs in the classroom are wired to the screens. The screens are not smart in anyway, they just provide a touch interface with a connected computer. In a few rooms there is a USB cable with the HDMI cable. Connecting that paired USB cable allows your laptop to use the camera and microphones for the room.
The Nomad Podiums are multi-purpose lecterns with AV incorporated into them, providing an encapsulated system with control, video switching, and multiple source inputs. Most Nomads will have these features:
Some of our short throw Epson projectors are touch capable. A short-throw projectors is one that is installed directly above the whiteboard. The short throw projectors that have a white casing are the interactive models that allow for touch interaction with the Built-in PC.
These microphones are an array of multiple mics to pick up all the voices in the room. These microphones are connected to the Built-in PC for use in video conferencing software such as Zoom.
