To Project the Computer
Turn ON the projector with the remote control kept by the computer desk. For sound make sure the amplifier (below the computer monitor) power is on, the master volume turned up to @ 7 and the volume control labeled Computer is turned up. You may also need to adjust the volume controls on the computer. To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.
 

Projecting a DVD
Turn ON the projector with the projector remote control. After logging onto the computer insert the DVD into the Disc drive and choose VLC from the list of DVD player programs. If you don't see the computer image projected after the projector has warmed up try pressing the input button on the projector remote and select Computer. Press the input button on the projector remote and select Video. For sound make sure the amplifier (below the Computer) power is on, the master volume turned up to @ 7, and the volume control labeled computer is turned up. You may also need to adjust the volume controls on the computer. 
To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.

Connecting a Laptop
By the computer monitor there is a spare male 15 pin (VGA) connector that plugs into the laptop. Turn ON the projector with the remote control kept by the computer. Press the input button on the projector remote and select Computer.​

Locate the Laptop switch button also by the monitor and press it until it is flashing (Laptop mode.)

 

For laptop sound connect the spare audio cable by the monitor into the laptop headphone connection. Make sure the amplifier (under monitor) power is on, the master volume turned up to @ 7, and the volume control labeled laptop is turned up. You may also need to adjust the volume controls on the laptop. To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.
