This space features a QSC touch control panel mounted to the Nomad Podium allowing for easy volume and display controls. Facing the students is a whiteboard on which the room's short throw projector with touch capabilities can display.
Some of our short throw Epson projectors are touch capable. A short-throw projectors is one that is installed directly above the whiteboard. The short throw projectors that have a white casing are the interactive models that allow for touch interaction with the Built-in PC.
The Nomad Podiums are multi-purpose lecterns with AV incorporated into them, providing an encapsulated system with control, video switching, and multiple source inputs. Most Nomads will have these features:
Q-SYS is a programmable AV Control platform. The CATS team has two Q-SYS certified AV engineers on staff, allowing us to troubleshoot, redesign, and adapt the room's control panel.
Starting with Schlessman in 2023, Q-SYS has become the new standard system for controlling the equipment in the teaching space.
