To project the computer

Turn ON the projector with the remote control or Power button on top of podium right side. If you don't see the computer image projected after the projector has warmed up make sure the Projector Input Device (below keyboard) is ON and Computer 1 is selected. For sound make sure the amplifier (next to computer) is ON, the master volume turned up to around 7, and the volume control labeled Computer is turned up. You may also need to adjust the volume controls on the computer. 

To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.

To project a DVD

Turn ON the projector with the remote control or Power button on top of podium right side. If you don't see the computer image projected after the projector has warmed up make sure the Projector Input Device (below keyboard) is ON and Computer 1 is selected. After logging onto the computer insert the DVD into the Disc drive and choose VLC from the list of DVD player programs.  For sound make sure the amplifier next to the computer is ON, the master volume turned up to around 7, and the volume control labeled Computer is turned up. A DVD can also be played in the VCR/DVD combo player. Select Video on the Projector Input device. For sound make sure the amplifier power is ON, the master volume turned up to @ 7, and the volume control labeled VCR/DVD is turned up.

To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.

Connecting a laptop

Connect the spare monitor cord kept by the monitor to the laptop. Turn ON the projector with the remote control or Power button on top of podium right side. Select Computer 2 on the Projector Input Device in the podium above the computer. For laptop sound connect the spare audio cable into the laptop headphone connection. Then make sure the amplifier (next to computer) is ON, the master volume turned up to around 7, and the volume control labeled Laptop is turned up. You may also need to adjust the volume controls on the laptop. 

To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.
