This space features a QSC touch control panel mounted to the New Podium allowing for easy volume; display, and camera controls. Facing the students ais a large whiteboards on which the room's projector can display. Mounted at the back of the room is an AVer PTZ camera. Installed in the ceiling is a Shure microphone array tile, making this space fully Zoom capable.
The AVer TR530 PTZ camera is USB connected to the classroom PC for use in video conferencing applications such as Zoom. The camera has pan, tilt, and zoom capability which are controlled with a touch panel or a remote. They do have a simple tracking feature that can be enabled or disabled.
With Schlessman Family Hall, the CATS team has been able to start constructing our own modern podiums using the QSYS AV system. The newest podiums come in two sizes:

The Q-SYS PTZ cameras are positioned to capture the podium area. These cameras are controlled from the Q-SYS Touch Panel Controller on the podium. The PTZ designation stands for Pan, Tilt, and Zoom allowing for repositioning of the view.
These microphones are an array of multiple mics to pick up all the voices in the room. These microphones are connected to the Built-in PC for use in video conferencing software such as Zoom.
