This space features a QSC control panel mounted to the ew podium that allows for easy volume, camera, and display controls. Facing the students is a pair of large whiteboards with another to their right. The larger of the two print white boards offers a surface for the room's touch capable projector to display, the room's second projector is aimed higher and is it not on a white board, nor does it have touch integration. Mounted on the far wall, behind the students, is an AVer PTZ camera. Mounted in the ceiling is a Shure Microphone Array Tile, making this space fully Zoom capable.
The AVer TR530 PTZ camera is USB connected to the classroom PC for use in video conferencing applications such as Zoom. The camera has pan, tilt, and zoom capability which are controlled with a touch panel or a remote. They do have a simple tracking feature that can be enabled or disabled.
Some of our short throw Epson projectors are touch capable. A short-throw projectors is one that is installed directly above the whiteboard. The short throw projectors that have a white casing are the interactive models that allow for touch interaction with the Built-in PC.
With Schlessman Family Hall, the CATS team has been able to start constructing our own modern podiums using the QSYS AV system. The newest podiums come in two sizes:

These microphones are an array of multiple mics to pick up all the voices in the room. These microphones are connected to the Built-in PC for use in video conferencing software such as Zoom.
